Learn more about new versions, changes and improvements for SitecoreAI

We're excited to announce the beta release of Content SDK for Angular, bringing the power of SitecoreAI to Angular developers through a modern, Angular-native development experience.

Content SDK for Angular is built around Angular best practices, including standalone components, signals, route resolvers, and server-side rendering. The beta introduces a streamlined architecture that simplifies application development while providing first-class integration with Sitecore content and personalization services. Content SDK for Angular supports all core functionalities of SitecoreAI, enabling teams to adopt Angular without compromising access to key platform features.

Key highlights:

  • Angular-native architecture – built on standard Angular patterns with seamless SSR support and dependency injection.

  • Loader-based data fetching –  a new loader framework enables server-side retrieval of layout and dictionary data, providing a scalable foundation for advanced scenarios such as personalization.

  • Editing and Preview support – integrated support for Sitecore editing and preview experiences.

  • Localization and multisite capabilities – built-in support for multilingual and multisite implementations.

  • Unified configuration model – centralized application configuration through a single configuration entry point.

  • Improved developer experience – scaffold applications quickly with create-content-sdk-app and follow a simplified project structure designed specifically for Angular applications.

As a beta release, we're actively seeking feedback from developers and early adopters. Your input will help shape future enhancements as we continue to expand Angular support and work toward a stable 1.0 release. The official documentation now includes a framework switcher, allowing users to switch between Next.js and Angular documentation seamlessly.
