Page and site translation in SitecoreAI use brand kits to ensure translated content reflects your brand’s voice, terminology, and intent. Brand kits now also include a new Glossary and localization section that lets you define how specific terms, phrases, and brand names are translated or preserved.
With the glossary, you can:
Define approved translations for key terms to ensure consistent messaging across all localized content.
Prevent brand, product, and campaign names from being translated.
Preserve branded phrases and slogans during site and page translation.
Ensure glossary terms take priority over Do’s and Don’ts of the brand kit and general translation rules.
Automatically apply glossary terms during site and page translation when a brand kit is assigned.
This helps maintain accuracy, tone, and brand control across translated landing pages, campaigns, and site pages.
The Brand Management API now also supports adding and editing glossary terms in brand kits via the Create a brand kit subsection endpoint, making bulk and automated localization updates easier.
Note: As soon as a term appears in the glossary, the Do’s and Don’ts you may have previously configured in the brand kit are ignored for translation.
