The new Convert functionality enables teams to transition existing SitecoreAI projects to the Decoupled Deployments architecture, where authoring environments and editing hosts are deployed independently. This beta feature helps teams align current project setups with the latest architectural standards introduced in recent platform updates.
This feature provides several key benefits:
Modernized architecture: Brings legacy projects in line with the latest deployment model, supporting separate repositories for each authoring environment and editing host.
Improved scalability: Enables more granular control over deployments and environment configurations.
Streamlined migration: Automates the conversion process, reducing manual effort and risk.
To use the Convert functionality:
Open the Deploy app.
Select the project you want to convert.
Click Options > Convert project, then click Confirm.
This will start a new deployment of all Authoring environments and Editing Hosts
The Decoupled Deployments feature is currently still in beta and may not be available in all environments. We appreciate everyone providing feedback to help improve the experience ahead of general availability.
