Sitecore Marketplace apps now support permissions and subscriptions to new events in the SDK.
Permissions
Opening pop-ups and in-app links.
Copy content to the user's clipboard.
Reading content from the user's clipboard.
You can enable these permissions during app configuration in App studio, on the Overview tab. Enabled permissions are listed when installing an app.
If permissions change for an app that's already installed in an organization, an admin or owner needs to update the app in My apps for the changes to take effect.
New event subscriptions
Version 0.3 of the Marketplace SDK client package lets you subscribe to page layout and field layout changes. These subscriptions let your Marketplace app react when, for example, the user of the SitecoreAI Page builder adds or moves a page component, or edits a field.
