| 1.5.89 | 2025.12.02 | Added features: Page translation: The user working in either the Content Editor or the Experience Editor can now translate an entire page with one operation. The operation identifies the items that contribute to the page and translates them together. Translated items are saved as new versions. The translation operation translates everything it is able to. Please see documentation for guidance on what content sources are included and excluded from the operation. Page translation is a PREMIUM feature. Documentation: AI-assisted page translation Page translation known issue: When translating a page to a new language using Content Editor or Experience Editor, if the page’s parent item (for example, the Home item) has no translatable fields and no version exists in the target language, the system does not create a new language version for that parent item. This can prevent the translated page from rendering correctly in the target language. Note: In the Experience Editor the issue gets masked because the editor can render the page even when the parent item lacks an initial version, but the underlying problem remains and may affect other operations. Workaround: Before or after running Page translation, manually create the first version of the parent item in the target language. Either approach ensures the translated page renders properly. User access control: The Sitecore administrator now assigns AI feature access to users by assigning Stream feature roles in the User Manager app. This allows some users to be granted limited access for example to item-level features, and others assigned more powerful and larger scope AI functions. Documentation: Add or remove AI roles for a user. Caution: Upon first deploying this module release and feature, the Sitecore administrator must assign these new AI roles to avoid existing users losing their previous access. |
