Added Null Safety to Image Processor in DAM Connector to fix ArgumentOutOfRangeException error when using SXA query tokens.
Added SXA query token support to file processors within DAM Connector. Additional null checking and type safety was also added to avoid NullException errors.
DAM Connector image control now correctly resolves tokens when the site name contains separators or reserved keywords.
Added media items as dependencies in the publish pipeline and wired media dependency resolution into dependency aggregation to resolve two issues: referencing pages not being republished when a media item with the related items setting enabled is republished and smart publishing not updating media links referenced by pages and datasource items.
Updated the Rendering Host generation logic to ensure that the item name in the Sitecore tree now matches the host's name.
Audience builder is now available in SitecoreAI to help you define and manage reusable profiles groups, such as returning customers, new site visitors, campaign visitors, or visitors interested in specific products or topics. Each audience is created using rules based on available profile data.
What's new
You can now use the Audience builder to create audiences by selecting profile data attributes and defining rules that determine which profiles belong to the audience. Attributes can include profile details, session information, events, and traits.
You can also combine rules and create more specific profile groups from multiple rules or rule groups.
You can also calculate the estimated audience size before setting an audience live to help you check whether the current rules match the profiles you want to include.
How it works
In Audience Builder, you add and refine rules that define the profiles you want to include in an audience.
When the audience is live, SitecoreAI evaluates profile data against the audience rules to determine whether each profile is included or not included in the audience. SitecoreAI then saves the result on profiles, where you can view each profile's audience membership.

You can now select a specific audience for an A/B/n test using the condition builder.
In the A/B/n test settings modal, under Optional configuration, use the new Audience targeting section to define who participates in the test. Only site visitors who match the defined conditions are included in the test and randomly assigned to a variant. Visitors who do not match the conditions are not exposed to the test.

When creating a brief, marketers select a brief type as the starting point. The selected type determines which fields are shown, ensuring key details such as objectives, audiences, and timelines are captured in a clear and consistent format.
Why it matters
Previously, all briefs used the same default structure. Now, admins can create different types for different campaign needs.
Because each brief is based on a selected brief type, marketers only see the fields that are relevant to that brief. This helps teams capture the right information without unnecessary clutter. Admins define the structure once, and marketers complete the brief, either manually or with AI.
What’s included
Create brief types - create a brief type from scratch or start with preset fields such as Objectives, Target Audience, and Message. Add an icon and description, then organize fields as needed.
Flexible fields - add and manage field types such as Text, Rich text, Boolean, Date and time, Timeline, and Budget. Add help text and intent to guide AI-generated content for each field.
Duplicate or remove brief types - copy existing brief types to save time or delete those that are no longer needed.
View and edit - browse all brief types in one place and open any type to edit or review its fields, description, usage, and details.
The latest release of Page builder includes the following improvements:
Field validation feedback is now clearer, with affected fields highlighted to help you quickly identify and resolve issues without searching.
You can now open a component directly in Design Studio from the Page builder right-hand panel to quickly review variants, inspect details, and create new variants.
The Insert Link dialog now shows the page slug or path as a tooltip in picker results, helping authors distinguish between pages with similar names and select the correct link target more easily.

Language write access restrictions are now correctly enforced, preventing unauthorized version creation and workflow updates for restricted languages.
Long Description help text now preserves line breaks, improving readability and aligning with Content Editor behavior.

When translating an item via the Content tab in Page builder, the translation status (for example, \"Already translated\", \"Existing version 1\", \"View content\") persisted and incorrectly rendered on a different item. These translation status messages are now correctly scoped to the active item.
The internal link dialog now respects the current language context, ensuring links are created in the active language.
Link fields now correctly display the page path when no link text is provided, without requiring a page refresh after setting a datasource.
TreeList fields now open and display all valid directories, allowing authors to browse and select items from any configured source path.
Tag Treelist fields now restrict selection to Tag items only, preventing authors from selecting Tag Folder items and aligning behavior with Content Editor.
TreeListEx fields now display the full set of selectable items instead of limiting results to 50.
Personalization and A/B/n testing through Marketer MCP and Agent API are now fully supported in SitecoreAI.
Previously, these Conversion Optimization-related workflows created through Marketer MCP or Agent API could encounter issues. As a result, personalizations and experiments created through these tools did not appear in the SitecoreAI UI.

With this update, related requests now use the appropriate service, so personalization and A/B/n testing workflows created through Marketer MCP or Agent API appear correctly in the SitecoreAI UI.

Site settings are now available as a dedicated tab in the Sites dashboard, alongside Overview, A/B/n tests, and Localization. This update makes navigation and site management more consistent and efficient.
You can still access site settings using the existing method by clicking Options > Settings on a site tile in Channels.

You can now scope Question and Answer content to specific sites or sources using Question and Answer Groups.
When configuring Questions and Answers, you choose whether content is generated from specific sources or from all sources in your domain. This helps ensure that answers are relevant to the content you want to expose in your Search experience.
This enables you to:
Generate Q&A items using documents from a single source, giving you more control over how answers are constructed.
Use the question and answer group ID as the widget’s‘rfk_id’ to return results from only that group, ensuring that responses are relevant even when multiple sources are indexed within the same domain.
Alternatively, continue to generate Q&A items using all sources when a broader knowledge base is required.
This feature supports both offline and online Q&A generation, ensuring that new Q&A items are aligned with the selected source configuration.

Some advanced or administrative scenarios may still require Content Editor, depending on your setup and roles.
We’re introducing contextual publishing insights in Page builder, giving editors clear visibility into the publishing state of their content across strategy, site, page, and datasource levels.
Content is now labelled with clear status indicators, including live, scheduled, no workflow, draft, and approved. These labels are visible across key areas of the authoring experience, including the version drop-down, the page items context panel, the page references view used for publishing, and the right-hand panel.
In addition, you can now also create a new content item version, and update its workflow state directly from the right-hand side configuration panel.
These enhancements provide greater transparency into content status and behavior, improved accuracy when publishing or updating content, and increased confidence in what will appear on the live site.

Delta crawling now removes indexed documents for URLs that have been deleted from a sitemap, helping prevent outdated content from appearing in search results.

Component personalization is now available in SitecoreAI Page builder, making it easier to deliver targeted experiences at the component level.
You can now show different component variants to different visitors without personalizing the entire page. This gives you the flexibility to personalize multiple components on the same page, such as banners, messages, promotions, or calls to action, based on visitor profile data, conditions, or custom values.
Component personalization uses a decision table to evaluate each visitor against your configured rules. You can:
Define the inputs used for visitor evaluation.
Create personalization rules based on profile data, conditions, or custom values.
Map each rule to a corresponding component variant.
Rules are evaluated from top to bottom, and the first matching rule determines which variant is shown. If no rules match, the original component is displayed.
This gives marketers a flexible way to personalize specific areas of a page while keeping the rest of the experience unchanged.
You can also preview and test personalized components before starting the personalization. Analytics data becomes available as visitors begin seeing the live personalization.

We added an option to See the live page to the Page builder Preview menu. Editors can now open the published version of the current page in a new tab for easy comparison.
Editors can now use a new Content mode link at the bottom of the Page content panel to quickly switch to Content mode.
When clicking on a form in the canvas, Page builder now shows the selected form name instead of a generic label, giving editors clear visibility of which form is currently being configured.

Components with an empty datasource field no longer inherit the parent datasource and now correctly display no data.
The Create button is now disabled for items located under the Virtual Page Standard Values path.
Sitecore Marketplace apps now support a new permission that allows file downloads to the user's computer. This is relevant for apps that let users export files, such as analytics data in CSV or PDF format.
You can enable this permission during app configuration in App studio. If disabled, your app's download functionality will not function.

The April–May release of Agentic studio focuses on extensibility, performance, and day-to-day usability. Custom MCP connectors let you bring your own tools into Agentic studio with OAuth-based authentication. Workflows now run faster and recover from upstream failures thanks to parallel per-item execution and provider-level retries with exponential backoff. The Contextual Assistant gains quicker loading of languages and brand kits, chat history search, and tighter integration with the host Sitecore Pages window.
Chat and signals have been refined for speed, traceability, and continuity across long sessions.
Instant language and brand kit loading - Site languages and brand kits associated with your space appear immediately when you open the assistant, rather than after a separate fetch finishes. Brand kit detection recognizes additional identifier sources and uses friendly display names throughout the assistant flow.
Synchronized assistant shell - When you open an artifact, the assistant tells the host Sitecore Pages window to expand; when you close it, it collapses. The host page gets out of your way when you need the room and tucks back when you don't.
Reliable streaming recovery - If a streaming response is interrupted, reopening the conversation refetches the authoritative message state from the server rather than leaving a stale half-response on screen. Active run lifecycle handling has been centralized so chat resume works consistently across long-running sessions.
Chat history search - Search across your chat history to find past conversations and pick up where you left off.
Cleaner brief generation - Form labels are stripped of internal section prefixes for readability, pre-filled context parameters are sanitized before display, and artifact cards appear more cleanly in the brief flow.
Preserved view state - Returning to a space from an artifact drops you back into the view (list, cards, etc.) you were using before opening it.
Signal pulses - A new type of generated market signal, signal pulses, is wired through Agentic studio end to end, with full API coverage.
Signal artifact selection - The Signals view supports richer artifact selection and action handling, so working with the artifacts generated from a signal is more direct.
Agents gain new ways to integrate with your tools, work with your content, and stay under your governance.
Custom MCP connectors - Bring your own MCP (Model Connector Provider) endpoints into Agentic studio. Add, authenticate via OAuth, enable/disable, and remove them through the tools settings UI. Each user authenticates separately, so private connectors stay private.
Page HTML context variant - SEO, AEO, GEO, and accessibility agents can request the rendered HTML of a Sitecore page as a first-class context variant, so they can analyze the actual markup visitors see. Configurable in the agent setup panel.
Scoped page search - The Sitecore page search tool now requires a site name up front and offers better client-side filtering. Results are scoped correctly and are returned faster.
Widget and report outputs, with a visual schema editor - Agents can produce JSON-rendered widget outputs (with a dynamic catalog of widget types) and report-style outputs alongside text, code, and image artifacts. The widget editor gained preview data, schema diagnostics, and a visual schema editor tab so building widgets is click-driven rather than hand-edited JSON.
Clickable prompt actions in agent responses - Model responses can include actionable prompt suggestions that insert text into your next message rather than sending it immediately. Site and page actions from agent tool outputs can be inserted as removable pills.
Agent name conflict validation - Creating or renaming an agent now checks for duplicate names across your space and blocks conflicts up front, instead of letting two same-named agents coexist and confuse downstream lookups.
Language version auto-creation - When an agent requests page content for a language that doesn't yet have a version, the system creates it automatically and surfaces clearer messages when something genuinely fails.
Skill sharing with visibility controls - Skills now have private / team / public visibility plus a collaborator system. You can share an in-progress skill with specific colleagues without exposing it to the entire organization.
Image display in artifacts - Agent-generated images now render properly in the artifact panel, and image-generation model selection is centralized so agents and workflows produce consistent results.
Workflows now run faster, recover from upstream failures, and behave consistently across long sessions.
Parallel per-item workflow execution - Workflows that fan out across many items such as bulk translations, content updates, multi-page operations, execute per-item branches in parallel rather than sequentially. Each branch streams its progress back independently, and fan-out window size is tunable.
Provider retries with exponential backoff - When a model provider hits a rate limit, timeout, or transient error mid-generation, workflows automatically retry with exponential backoff and surface detailed error information if all attempts fail. Per-node retry policies can be configured in the workflow graph.
Connected workspaces as first-class workflows - Linked agents in a space compile and execute through the same workflow runtime as everything else, with a live contract preview in the configuration UI, persistent agent connections, and run output surfaced alongside the connected workspace view.
Faster artifact rendering - Fixed a memoization issue in the Artifact and ArtifactModal components that was silently disabling React's render skipping. The affected views now skip re-renders as intended.
Smaller model context on long conversation - Chat history is compacted and summarized server-side before being sent to the model, so long conversations don't keep ballooning the prompt and slowing down responses.
Smarter document persistence - The save workflow only persists documents when something has actually changed, preventing duplicate writes during routine edits.
HTML template previews preserve <head> styles - Styles and stylesheet links that you place in the document head are correctly carried through into the iframe preview. Scripts and inline JavaScript continue to be removed for safety.
Reliable workspace run persistence - Workspace run persistence is now reliable, with runs saving and resuming as expected after fixes to the underlying logic.
Search reasoning fix - Search queries containing capital-S words (Sitecore, SEO, SSL, and similar) are no longer truncated by the reasoning-step extractor.
URL updates - /chat now permanently redirects to /conversations, and the long-standing /enviroments → /environments typo has been corrected with a permanent redirect. Existing links keep working.

Virtual Filesystem (Preview) - A bash-like interface that lets agents browse and edit a snapshot of your product data through familiar commands (ls, cd, cat), with an explicit commit step and permission checks before changes touch real data.
Sitecore Context tool (Preview) — A new tool, sitecore_context, that gives agents off / read / write access to your Sitecore environment, configurable per agent.
Admin Configuration Packages (Early Access) — Initial groundwork for an upcoming admin feature to export and import configurable Agentic studio items (agents, signals, schemas, HTML templates, skills, widgets) as zip packages.
The following improvements make it easier for authors to preview live content, work with templates, manage languages, and translate content:
Page templates created from branch templates in Content Editor now display their configured custom thumbnails in Page builder, giving authors clear visual previews when selecting templates.
We updated links in the Content Usage and Assign content item dialogs to open Content mode instead of Content Editor, providing a more consistent in‑app experience.
Updated language configuration links in Page builder to point to Localization > Configuration on the Sites dashboard, reflecting the new location of language settings.
The following fix improves the accuracy of experiment status information:
Fixed an issue where A/B/n tests could show both LIVE and PENDING statuses at the same time. Pages now derives a single, correct status by combining the Personalize API status with the page publish state.
Inline editing placeholders are no longer affected by component-leveltext-transformCSS styles, ensuring the [No text in field] placeholder clears correctly when authors edit the Title component.
Single-line text fields now prevent the [No text in field] placeholder from being saved as actual content when Tailwindtext-transformclasses are applied, avoiding incorrect values in preview and on published pages.
The latest release of the SitecoreAI base image 1.7.55 includes the following resolved issues:
Fixed an issue where site translation could fail if a new item version could not be created. The translation job now skips the affected item and continues processing the remaining content.
Resolved an issue in the Page builder that could result in excessive processing of document versions during media filtering. The GroupBy LINQ extension method is now supported to optimize query handling and performance.
Fixed an issue where the layout query in Experience Edge could return outdated template data after an item’s template was changed. That data is now correctly removed during publishing.
Fixed an issue where parent items were not automatically published to Experience Edge, which could result in orphaned child items remaining accessible after the parent was deleted.

Content authors can now translate a single content item at a time directly in Content mode using SitecoreAI. This allows authors to localize individual items such as pages, data sources, and other supported content without translating an entire page or site.
Item‑level translation gives authors greater control, supports incremental localization workflows, and enables faster updates while preserving existing site structure and references.

Before any translation works, you need to configure your site with at least one additional supported language. You can then start a site translation from the Localization widget on the Overview tab of the dashboard as you used to, but also from the Localization tab.

Content SDK 2.1 delivers improvements across Next.js integrations, event tracking, search, and preview security, along with key bug fixes that improve reliability and safety in production environments.
Lightweight visit tracking with bot classification - introduces a lightweight visit tracking pipeline for Next.js that identifies automated traffic and forwards properly classified visit signals to SitecoreAI, enabling more accurate visit metrics with minimal overhead. This enables future analytic features within SitecoreAI, including dedicated dashboards to show exactly how your site's content is being indexed and interacted with by AI agents.
Next.js 16.2 support - updated Next.js to v16.2 for improved compatibility and stability.
Improved ESLint setup for App Router templates - create-content-sdk-app now uses the native flat ESLint configuration for App Router templates.
Redirect support in the Next.js redirect proxy - added support for redirect items within the redirect proxy.
CDP session support in Search queries - Search service now accepts the CDP session ID in queries, enabling improved, session-aware search behaviour.
Preview security hardening (Next.js internal host) - fixed an issue where Preview could allow access to pages without proper permissions.
Draft Mode compatibility for statically generated pages - addressed issues with accessing preview data when Draft Mode is enabled on statically generated pages on Vercel.
Preview mode content visibility - resolved a bug where Preview mode could show content that should not be publishable.
You can now use regex capture groups in claims mapping to dynamically map external group or role values to Sitecore roles in tokens.
This update means that Portal claim mapping now:
Supports regex patterns with named capture groups, such as ^Internal-(?<RoleName>[a-zA-Z0-9]+)$, to extract role names from incoming claims.
Automatically adds mapped values to both the Sitecore ID token and Sitecore access token using the captured group value.
For example, external claim values like Internal-Role1 and Internal-Role2 are mapped to token claims such as yourSSOConnectionId.xmc_role: [\"sitecore\\\\Role1\", \"sitecore\\\\Role2\"].
Note: This feature is being rolled out in phases. It may not be available in your organization yet, but will appear once your environment receives the update.
The SitecoreAI Profiles page now makes it easier to monitor visitor activity as it happens, understand where your audience is coming from, and quickly find the profiles most relevant to your analysis.
Main improvements include:
Sessions map - an interactive world map now appears alongside the profiles list, showing the geographical locations of live and recent sessions. Click any dot on the map to filter the profiles list by location, and use the map legend to toggle live sessions, recent sessions, or both.
Live data - view real-time information, such as the number of live profiles (site visitors with an open session). The Profiles page refreshes every 30 seconds so you can monitor active sessions as they happen. Data continues to flow into SitecoreAI, but you can pause the page from displaying the latest updates.
Other updates include:
Profiles list details - the list now includes city, country, and device information for every profile.
Improved filtering - you can now filter the profiles list by device type and by geographical location using the new world map.
Affinity grouping - on the profile details page, affinity values are now grouped by affinity names.

Parallel entity processing in Sitecore Connect for Content Hub
The integrated Sitecore Connect for Content Hub connector’s performance of synchronizing CMP entities has been improved by adding the ability to process different entity types simultaneously. Additionally, redundant messages are now skipped, preventing duplicate processing without changes being present.
The latest release of the SitecoreAI base image 1.7.38 includes the following resolved issues:
Fixed a parsing error that caused items using Multiroot Treelist fields to throw a Sitecore.Data.Query.ParseExceptionwhen opened.
Preview no longer fails when a site item is marked never publish. Column splitter now also renders correctly in preview, including scenarios with language fallback and thumbnail generation.
Resolved an issue where publishing a field value change in the main language did not trigger an update of the fallback language field value when field language fallback was enabled.
When publishing redirect items with an internal link target, the target is now serialized as a relative path instead of being a fully qualified URL. This allows the middleware that manages redirects to correctly apply locale handling.
Made critical security enhancements to the ExperienceContentManagement.Administration module.
Redirects are now removed from the Preview API when a page no longer uses a template that inherits Redirect either because the page’s template was changed or because the template’s base templates were changed.
Fixed a defect where SitecoreAI crashed while resolving template links by exiting recursion and logging the error.
The PreserveLanguage flag on redirect items, which is set in the Content Editor, now defaults to true. The flag, when set to true, keeps the incoming URL’s language and applies it to the redirect target.
The change to the default value aligns with the expected behavior for redirect items, which are language versioned: standard versioning and language fallback rules will apply when resolving the redirect target.
Previously the flag defaulted to false, which was inconsistent with how language versions are managed for these items.
The SitecoreAI Pathway 1.3 release includes the following features:
Ability to migrate any website (beta) — Migrate public HTML sites (non-Sitecore sources) through the same SitecoreAI Pathway flow as Sitecore XM: content from the live site, then grouping, template mapping, component mapping, and migration. You are still required to upload the SitecoreAI structure file for your target environment in the Pathway configuration. The scope, language, media, authentication, and discovery behavior for this beta feature is limited. You can access a list of limitations and guidance on using the Any website option by clicking the information icon on the Any website tile within the app itself.
Improved SitecoreAI structure file — The SitecoreAI structure export script now emits a richer JSON file (uploaded in the SitecoreAI Pathway configuration as structure.json): page templates include fields from base templates; page designs include linked partial designs and their renderings; placeholder paths for renderings under partial designs are corrected (including SXA-style placeholder segments).
Better SitecoreAI Pathway mapping and import — Component mapping respects placeholders from partial designs (partial designs are not migrated as standalone components) and fixes invalid placeholder paths during migration. Page fields applied on import are validated against the target page template and its base templates, so inherited fields line up with the export.
Improved reliability — Improvements across the SitecoreAI Pathway app, especially for any‑site crawl and mapping, including when steps fail or hit unusual cases.
